How it works
Find it, file it, prove it, keep checking.
Removal isn't a one-time event. Sites re-list people when they buy fresh data, so the work is a loop, and every turn of the loop leaves a record you can see.
Free exposure scan
Tell us your name, city and state. We build a checklist of the 31 sites we cover, with a direct search link for each (so you can see your own listing) and the site's official opt-out page.
Today the “likely listed” column in the free scan is simulated and labeled that way. The links are real.
You authorize us, in writing
Several state privacy laws let you name an authorized agent to send privacy requests for you. You sign a short consent in your account. We store the exact text, its hash and the time you signed. You can revoke it anytime, which stops new requests.
We search each site and file opt-outs
An operator searches every site for you, records what we find, and files the opt-out using that site's own process: web form, email confirmation, phone verification, or a family-wide suppression like PeopleConnect's.
Where a site insists on ID, or refuses requests from agents, we tell you and mark it “needs attention” instead of pretending it's done.
Every change becomes a proof record
Each status change creates a record with a timestamp, the site's confirmation ID, the listing URL, a screenshot, and a SHA-256 hash. Each hash also covers the previous record's hash, so the history forms a chain: if anyone edited an old record, the chain would break.
You can check any record's hash on our public receipt page without signing in.
Re-checks and re-filing
We re-check removed listings every 90 days and pending ones about every two weeks. If a listing comes back, it's marked “re-listed”, moves to the front of our queue, and we file again.
California? We make DROP work harder
If you live in California, we walk you through the state's free DROP platform, track its 45-day broker processing cycle, and chase the listings DROP doesn't reach. More on DROP →
Limits
What we don't do.
- We don't promise removal from any specific site. Some refuse agents, and public records stay public.
- We don't ask for your Social Security number.
- We don't remove news articles, court records, or social media posts.
- We don't give legal advice. We're a privacy-request filing service.
