Proof receipts

Verify a receipt.

Every Struckoff proof record has a SHA-256 hash that covers its contents and the record before it. Paste a hash to confirm the record exists and that its chain hasn't been altered. No personal information is shown.

How the chain works

Each record's hash is computed over a fixed, versioned serialization of its fields: sequence number, site, status, note, confirmation ID, listing URL, the screenshot's own SHA-256, who recorded it, the timestamp, and the previous record's hash. Change any past record and its hash changes, which breaks every link after it.

This doesn't prove a site removed a listing. Only the screenshots and the site's own confirmations can show that. What it proves is that the record you're looking at is the one we wrote at the time, unedited.
